Child Care for Connecticut’s Future (CCfCT) a powerful and visible movement of parents, providers, advocates, philanthropy, businesses, unions and more, joining together to advocate for the equitable child care system our state needs. CCfCT envisions a high-quality, affordable child care and wrap-around support system, available to every family needing it, in the setting they choose, provided by well-trained and properly compensated educators. CCfCT’s mission is to build sustained public support through advocacy and education in order to achieve our transformative vision of an equitable system that supports the whole family.
CCfCT is in search of a highly focused and mission-driven Coalition Director. The Coalition Director will partner with coalition committees, funders, legislators, elected officials, parents, and volunteers to implement coalition activities and support relationships, and will ensure that the Coalition’s strategic plan moves forward successfully and toward sustainability. The position is remote, with travel expected to Hartford and across the state to engage coalition members and other stakeholders in person, as needed.
