POSITION DESCRIPTION
OPPORTUNITY
Person to Person (P2P) is seeking a Director of Institutional Giving to lead and execute the organization’s institutional giving strategy. Reporting to the Deputy Chief Philanthropy & Strategy Officer, the Director will work with a high degree of autonomy to secure, grow, and sustain unrestricted and restricted funding from foundations, corporations, and government agencies.
The Director will manage a robust portfolio of institutional funders and prospects, overseeing research, cultivation, solicitation, stewardship, pipeline development, grant management, and reporting. Working across the organization, this role will translate P2P’s programs, outcomes, financial needs, and strategic priorities into compelling proposals and cases for investment. The ideal candidate brings exceptional writing skills, strong judgment, disciplined portfolio management, and the ability to build efficient fundraising systems and use data to strengthen results.
